2009 Daytona Beach Dream Cruise

Posted by Rick D'louhy

Wow! Nearly 1,200 special cars and trucks participated in the inaugural Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, October 24-26, 2008. The event was successful thanks to great numbers of enthusiastic owners who brought out so many widely varied vehicles this first year.

We are happy to announce the dates for the 2nd Annual Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, October 23-25, 2009. Each year, you'll want to mark your calendar for the 4th weekend in October to join lots of car and truck enthusiasts at the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise. We're planning to make the event even better in 2009 than it was in 2008, and we're happy to announce that the event will continue to be free with no registration fee for your special vehicle.

We intend to streamline vehicle check-in to speed up the process so we can handle more cars more quickly in the future. We are also planning to enhance cruising along Atlantic Avenue so there will be greater concentrations of special vehicles at designated times.

We look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions. We intend to analyze all input in order to implement what you want for optimizing your future enjoyment. We encourage you to begin planning now to attend the 2nd annual Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, October 23-25, 2009.

Between now and then, we look forward to hearing from lots of you !!!

The dream cruise needs to be advertised to the public. A1A should have been lined up with spectators and there would have been more cars crusin. 4 of us from the cruzn losers cruised A1A 2 times and saw no other cruisers or spectators. Other than that I think that you all did a masterful job. Thank you Lee LaChapelle

I can not wait for this year event, we had so much fun last year and by the way it sounds that they have listen to peoples input from last year to make it alot better. We also cruised last year and we didnt see any other cars it seemed that no one wanted to leave the mall. I think this event is all about cruising so if the local people know when we are going to be out there on A!A they will show up just like they do for Turkey Rod Run. I want to thank Rick for all the hard work he has done I see him at all the car shows promoting this event, so I think we could all help him if we pass the word around to anyone who will listen!!!!!!!!!! I know I will. Patty Snead AMX-STUDEBKER
