5th Annual Daytona Beach Dream Cruise

Wow! 2011's Daytona Beach Dream Cruise with NPD (National Parts Depot) as prime sponsor, was terrific thanks to owners who brought out tremendous numbers of great collector cars & trucks for everyone to enjoy at new beachside venues and scenic riverfront sites.

Check-in & photo-shooting for 2011 was done both Fri. & Sat. at the Bermuda House Hotel, 2560 N. Atlantic Ave (A1A), immediately north of the LaPlaya Resort. Official Keepsake Photos for 2011, made possible by NAPA Auto Parts, were shot with the Atlantic Ocean and beach visible behind each vehicle. These photos were mailed totally free to vehicle owners by mid-December. Other 2011 activities centered around this 2400 to 2700 block of A1A included great displays Fri. & Sat. of super cars across the street from the Bermuda House Hotel and LaPlaya Resort at Bellair Plaza, adjacent to Ruby Tuesday. Also in this area, Fri. night's great action-packed drag racing film was shown on the pool deck of the LaPlaya Resort. Cruising along A1A in front of the LaPlaya Resort was quite entertaining. Lots of enthusiasts enjoyed the sock hop at Down the Hatch in Ponce Inlet Sat. afternoon and evening and also Sat. night, at Inlet Harbor Restaurant in Ponce Inlet, a different film of drag racing highlights thrilled those in attendance. The final gathering of the 2011 Daytona Beach Dream Cruise was a great success Sun. morning and afternoon at Blue Grotto overlooking the Halifax Harbor Marina in downtown Daytona Beach. This grand finale was capped off by ten lucky people each winning $100 cash with their names drawn by Faith Granger, the creative dynamo behind the "Deuce of Spades" movie, who posed with the winners. A great time was had by lots of people at 2011's event.

It's Big, It's Fun & It's Free - The Daytona Beach Dream Cruise was held for the 4th time in 2011. The pictures you're still seeing immediately to the right were shot at last year's event. They will be replaced by 2011 Official Keepsake Photos the first week in Feb. 2011's free Official Keepsake Photos were shot with the beach & ocean in the background behind the Bermuda House Hotel, immediately north of the LaPlaya Resort in the 2400 to 2700 block of N. Atlantic Av. (A1A). Thanks to NAPA Auto Parts for sponsoring 2011's Official Keepsake Photos. Great Free 2011 Enhanced Official Keepsake Photo thanks to NAPA

NAPA Auto Parts made it possible to furnish a great, free, enhanced Official Keepsake Photo to each participant who brought a collector car or truck during daylight hours Friday & Saturday to the beachside check-in & photo site. Thanks to NAPA, the photo was totally free for each recipient, with even the postage covered for snail mailing each really nice picture. Official Keepsake Photos for the first time in 2011 featured the beach and ocean behind the vehicle. These terrific photos were shot in the parking lot behind the Bermuda House Hotel so no one had to worry about sand or salt water. Everyone will be able to view and download these 2011 Official Keepsake Photo images from this web site very soon, while still being able to view 2008, 2009 and 2010 photos as well. 2011 TV COVERAGE:
The Car Enthusiast Television Program "Muscle Car Workout" filmed again at the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise in 2011.

2011's FREE CAR MOVIES: Free car theme films were shown on Friday and Saturday nights, each beginning at 7:30 pm. There was a different film each night - both were shown for free on big outdoor screens -

Saturday night at Inlet Harbor Restaurant & Marina in Ponce Inlet.

It was a real treat for many people who met Faith Granger & saw her "Deuce of Spades" '32 Ford hot rod on Sat. & Sun. at the 2011 Daytona Beach Dream Cruise.
